Move More, Live More! Personalized physical therapy for work-related injuries.

Work Conditioning Program

Rebuilding the strength and stamina to get back to the job you love — safely, and for good.

Work Conditioning is the bridge between physical therapy and a full return to work. Once pain is under control and basic mobility has been restored, many injured workers still aren't ready to safely perform the actual physical demands of their job — lifting, climbing, repetitive motion, standing for long shifts, or working in awkward positions. Body Balance's Work Conditioning Program closes that gap.

Unlike programs that meet only a couple times a week, our Work Conditioning Program runs 5 days a week, so injured workers build momentum, see faster gains in strength and endurance, and return to full duty sooner — which means less time off work and lower overall claim costs for employers.

Program Benefits

Restore Real-World Strength & Endurance

Progressive, supervised exercise rebuilds the strength, stamina, and tolerance for repetitive or sustained activity that the job actually requires.

Job-Specific Training

Sessions are built around each worker's real job tasks (lifting patterns, carrying, climbing, tool use, prolonged standing), not generic exercises.

Reduce Re-Injury Risk

Workers are coached on proper body mechanics and safe movement patterns so they return to work more resilient than before the injury.

Faster, Safer Return to Full Duty

A structured, goal-driven program with clear milestones keeps everyone — worker, employer, and physician — on the same timeline.

Program Details

  • Physical therapy sessions: 3–4 hours per day, 5 days a week
  • Typical program length: 2–8 weeks, depending on the worker’s job demands and recovery progress
  • Individualized plan based on the worker’s specific job demands and physical requirements
  • Progressive conditioning that increases load, complexity, and duration as tolerance improves
  • Direct oversight by a licensed physical therapist, with regular progress reviews
  • Clear short- and long-term functional goals tied to specific job tasks
  • Ongoing communication with the referring physician, case manager, and employer regarding progress
  • Can run alongside traditional rehabilitation or physical therapy, or serve as the next step afterward
  • Goal: safe return to full, unrestricted duty—or clear documentation of any remaining restrictions

Why Body Balance

Every Work Conditioning plan is designed and delivered by our own Physical Therapists across our Twin Falls, Gooding, and Jerome clinics — not handed off to a generic gym program. Because we also use OccuPro's industry-leading tracking software, employers and referring physicians get clear, easy-to-read progress reports throughout the program, not just a final note.

Powered by OccuPro

Body Balance uses OccuPro, an industry-leading platform built specifically for occupational and industrial rehab, to track Work Conditioning progress. That means clear, data-backed reporting on strength, endurance, and job-task performance — easy for physicians, case managers, and employers to read at a glance.
