Physical Therapist, Doctor of Physical Therapy
About Tyson Carter:
Tyson, PT, DPT grew up in Fairview, Utah. He joined the National Guard after
high school and served for nine years before beginning physical therapy school. He
completed his undergraduate work at Utah State University where he graduated with a
Bachelor of Science in Human Movement Science with a minor in Business
Management. He attended Eastern Washington University for physical therapy school
where he earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2014.
He practiced in Washington for a year before moving to the Magic Valley to continue his physical therapy career. His primary area of interest relates to neck and shoulder
problems including dizziness. He also has additional training in the treatment of
temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD) or jaw issues. His approach to therapy involves
hands-on assessment with a plan tailored to each individual's condition and response to treatment. He is excited to continue his learning and progression of clinical skills at Body Balance.
He enjoys spending his free time with his wife Jenny and their four children . He enjoys
many outdoor activities including camping, hiking, fishing and cycling.
