About Lisa Scroggins:

Lisa, PTA, was born and raised in the Magic Valley. She recently moved back to Idaho after traveling with her husband in the military.  Over the last 15 years, they have lived in Texas, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. Lisa attended Idaho State University and the University of Alaska Fairbanks with an emphasis in Health Science and Biology. She received her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Kapi’olani Community College in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Lisa has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings over the years to include skilled nursing, home health, outpatient orthopedics, aquatics rehabilitation, and rehab Pilates. She has experience working as a PT clinic liaison at a physical therapy medical gym where she coordinated training and education with physicians, as well as fitness programs and classes for clients in the community.  She is certified in LSVT Big, a program specifically for Parkinson’s clients to help maintain mobility and stay active. She worked for 2 years in a pro bono clinic teaching classes in Tai Chi, LSVT Big, and Boxing for Parkinson's. Her particular passion and interest are in overall wellness in physical and nutritional health. Lisa enjoys helping people to improve and maintain their health by moving their bodies and eating well.

Outside of working as a PTA, Lisa loves to swim and be in the water, especially in the ocean. She had her own swim school while living in Hawaii where she taught swimming lessons and water safety to children. She also enjoys lifting weights, attending yoga, Pilates, and kayaking with friends. She has 3 boys that keep her busy with school activities and attending baseball and football games. She enjoys being back in the Magic Valley closer to family where she is hiking, kayaking, and exploring Idaho with her husband and boys.
