About Kirstyn Brinkman:
Kirstyn, PTA, is originally from Lynden, Washington, a small town in northwestern Washington near the Canadian border. She was active in sports in school and suffered an injury during her senior year of track and field, which sparked her interest in learning about anatomy and physiology. She attended Whatcom Community College and then transferred to Western Washington University where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2013. She completed an internship at an outpatient clinic in Lynden, WA under a Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer. It was there that she realized she wanted to work in physical therapy helping people of many different ages and conditions rehabilitate and be able to complete everyday activities pain-free. She then went on to obtain her PTA degree from Whatcom Community College in 2016.
In her professional career, she has worked with a variety of different conditions, most recently in a clinic that specializes in orthopedics and recovery after orthopedic surgery. She has an interest in sports medicine and orthopedic conditions. She enjoys working with patients and adapting treatment care to best improve patient outcomes and improve quality of life.
She recently moved to Twin Falls and in her spare time she likes to explore the beauty of Twin Falls and the surrounding areas. She likes to run, hike, camp, mountain bike and generally be active outdoors with her boyfriend.
