Joseph, PT, DPT, ATC, was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Brigham Young University in Athletic Training and went on to graduate from Northern Arizona University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After seeing the beautiful Snake River and meeting the team at BodyBalance Physical therapy, he decided to begin his PT career here in the Magic Valley.

Joseph spent 2 years during his undergraduate degree working with BYU’s football team, Rugby team, and collegiate dance teams as well as the sports teams at Pleasant Grove High School. His work with athletes grew his passion and skill in sports rehabilitation. As he trained in PT clinics and hospitals in Arizona and Utah, he learned that every person has sports, hobbies, or activities that contribute to their happiness. His passion now is helping each person perform the activities that mean the most to them whether that is playing with their grandchildren, working in the garden, or competing in a track meet.

When not helping patients move more and live more, Joseph enjoys going on adventures with his wife, Rachel, and daughter, Jane. Together they traverse frisbee golf courses, conquer jungle gyms, and have legendary dance parties. They are excited to welcome a baby boy to their family at the end of September.
